Windows DreamScene was developed for use in Windows Vista by the year 2007, where video files are applied as wallpapers to desktops. However, its adoption was not made in subsequent editions. According to this idea, it would just mean that Windows 11 had dynamic wallpapers trying to create some kind of renaissance for the concept as if reborn but in quite a more contemporary blend without getting cheesy about the whole OS design itself.</p><p class='mt-2'>Wallpaper Engine, which could also have animated wallpapers and live wallpapers responding to user input. Still, native solutions do not roll out nearly as the native version could probably have been far better optimized and a better part of the Windows 11 ecosystem. It would be pretty amazing what a native wallpaper system for wallpaper through, and unfortunately, what it does and could leave at what its users are pondering is just what could have been.</p><p class='mt-2'>Last but not least, this may be the most critical feature that has been overlooked from the list of cancellations in Windows 11 and would have significantly improved the users' overall experience. Let's take a technical look at the whole scenario.</p> <img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/main/uploads/FTC_microsoft.webp' alt='' class='m-2'> <p class='mt-2'>The problem started in 2021 when Microsoft began free services of its software packages to the agencies of the U.S. government. This involved more advanced cyber security packages compared to the existing packages offered by other competitors on the Windows platform. The government faced a number of cyber attacks within a very short span and during these attacks, Microsoft offered some of their product on a trial basis which they paid for later on for the upgrades.</p> <p class='mt-2'>In no time most of the government agencies started adopting the bundle offered by Microsoft starting with the Department of Defence adopting the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.</p> <p class='mt-2'> But Microsoft is standing by its action. They claim that the offer was made in the interest of helping the government, to strengthen its security because threats are continually on the rise in cyberspace. </p> <p class='mt-2'> The probe also faces dealing with a massive breach in cybersecurity called the SolarWinds hack in Microsoft terms, where Russian government-sponsored hackers exploited flaws in the software of Microsoft to perpetrate intelligence against federal agencies and steal sensitive data. Years ago, a flawed warning from that defect was sent by a Microsoft engineer to management. But they were afraid that it might damage the company's relations with the government and therefore business, so they ignored the defect warning.</p> <p class='mt-2'> The failure to fix that bug revealed a whole new set of questions about whether Microsoft has become too powerful in controlling a lion's share of the federal market.</p> <p class='mt-2'>The question is whether Microsoft uses market power to suppress competition. That reflects old fears more than two decades ago when Microsoft faced antitrust charges for unfair dominance in the software market. The U.S. government nearly broke up the company then, but a settlement imposed certain restrictions on its business practices.</p> <p class='mt-2'> Today, with Microsoft expanding to include software, cloud services, and cybersecurity, the FTC feels this dominance will negatively affect competition, most particularly in the federal sector.</p> <p class='mt-2'> The FTC has served a formal subpoena on Microsoft requesting more details on their business practices. In such a case, models in Mistral will prove fit for developers and researchers working under fewer computational resources. </p></div>

In 2020, Epic filed a lawsuit against Google over unfair practices on the Android App Store. He mandated that the Google Play Store has to open competition for other players to enter the game for a period of 3 years and this has to be done within the time frame of 8 months from the date of release of this order. He also added that the other stores will have access to Google Play's entire app catalogue, with developers having the option to opt-out.</p><p class='mt-2'>This ruling can be a very big change for the Android community as the developers and the users doesnt need to depend on the Google play store for their everyday use apps and can check for other options too.</p><p class='mt-2'>After this Google has expressed its disappointment with the court by supporting that this strategy has worked very well for them for the past seven years. Google has appealed this decision already which is still pending with the court.</p><p class='mt-2'>It looks like Google is being sued from every place possible, some places are investigating Google for its dominance in Digital Ad marketing technology, Europe is investigating Google's practices and many more.</p></div>

But the catch here is that for a few bucks, you can get Extended Security Updates for one year. This is just a very new thing that Microsoft has done. Let's take a technical look at this.</p><strong><h2 class='text-2xl'>First of all, why do Windows Updates matter?</h2></strong><p class='mt-2'>Windows updates are important because they help keep your computer secure and running smoothly. During the development of new features, there can be some new bugs in the system. To make sure that you are not vulnerable to those bugs, we need to update Windows on a regular basis. With the updates, it is said that there are some performance improvements, too, with the removal of cache data from the system. </p><p class='mt-2'>After the time for Windows 10 is over, the PC that still has Windows 10 will still receive some updates regarding the Critical and Important security updates but there will be no update from Microsoft for new features, bug fixes, and technical support.</p><p class='mt-2'>The price for 1 year of Extended Security Updates will be $61 for businesses with the price doubling every year.</p><p class='mt-2'>With this move, it looks like Microsoft is forcing people to move to Windows 11. There will be no new feature update or any bug fixes available with this update. This feature will be activated after 14th October 2025 after the support for Windows 10 will be disabled.</p><strong><h2 class='text-2xl'>Does a normal user need to get the ESU program?</h2></strong><p class='mt-2'>Yes and No, The answer is very dicey at this time. </p><p class='mt-2'>This program is basically aimed at big organizations having a large number of PCs that can have difficulty moving to Windows 11 as there can be hardware issues or there can be some software that only runs on Windows 10. </p><p class='mt-2'>For a single user (eg Home PC/ Personnel laptop), so if your hardware doesn't support requirements for Windows 11 like no TPM 2.0 support or Secure Boot not available then you should definitely go for the ESU program for 30$ per year you are able to secure your PC from all the known threats.</p><p class='mt-2'>But if your system supports the minimum requirements for Windows 11 then you may get Windows 11 as it is priced at around 120$ which is equal to the price for 3 years of updates and as Windows 11 is fairly new so u will surely get updates for windows 11 after 3 years too if you get one while in case if you get the Windows 10 ESU program then after 3 years there will be no updates and you will have to eventually move to windows 11. So better to move now than to wait for 3 years.</p></div>

This breach included patron email addresses(patron is a platform via which people take donations) and encrypted passwords. </p><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/Internet_archive.webp' alt='Internet Archeive is hacked' class='m-2'><p class='mt-2'><strong>But the question is why is the Internet Archive website important?</strong></p><p class='mt-2'>The Internet Archive has a digital copy of all the websites that have ever existed. It’s reported that it has archived over 890 billion web pages since 1996, which is a very large number! Additionally, with Google’s recent changes, the Internet Archive has become the primary source for cached pages. If this website were to go down, it would be devastating, as a significant amount of valuable knowledge could be lost forever.</p><p class='mt-2'>After the attack, the organization reported that the archival material was safe following the break. </p><p class='mt-2'>Though the site has been up now including its archive tool for websites, the Wayback Machine. The organization has commented that they have worked around the clock and even on the weekend to restore the rest of its services securely.</p><p class='mt-2'>An activist group, Black Meta, has claimed responsibility for the attacks.</p></div>

As the display can go as low as 1Hz refresh rate the AOD feature that comes with the new ColorOS won't drain the battery as much as it is draining in other competitor devices.</p><h2 class='text-2xl'>Memory</h2><p class='mt-2'>In the case of memory, there is a jump, the OnePlus 13 gets up to 24 GB RAM and up to 1 TB storage which is a lot for a smartphone. The phone runs Android 15 out of the box, based on the newly launched ColorOS 15.</p><h2 class='text-2xl'>Battery</h2><p class='mt-2'>The OnePlus 13 uses a 6,000 mAh battery massive battery along with a 100 W charger inside the box. Maybe the 6000 mAh will be the new industry standard? Oneplus 13 also supports reverse charging.</p><h2 class='text-2xl'>Camera</h2><p class='mt-2'> The OnePlus 13 houses 3 cameras and the funny part is that all the cameras are 50MP. The main sensor is a 50 MP main Sony LYT-808 sensor, then we have a 50 MP ultrawide Samsung sensor, and in the end a 50 MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. In the selfie department, there is a 32 MP front camera.</p><p class='mt-2'> The OnePlus 13 is IP68 and IP69 which is great as these protections mean that the phone has dust and water protection.</p><p class='mt-2'>OnePlus 13 which can be called the base variant with 12 GB/ 256 GB starts at CNY 4,499 (around ₹53,100 in India). The 12 GB/ 512 GB unit at CNY 4,899 (around ₹57,900 in India) and the 16 GB/ 512 GB for CNY 5,299 (around ₹62,600 in India). Sometimes, it’s nice to make something with your own hands that you'll use every day. That’s what this guide is about how to build a PC from scratch.It can be disheartening for the first time you are gonna build a PC for yourself as it’s quite expensive, complex & things can get really messy in just a matter of seconds. In this article, I will share with you my thought process when I first built my own PC which I am currently using to write this article.<h1>What components you will need and how to decide?</h1>I used a website called <a href='https://pcbuilder.net/'>PC Builder/</a> to exactly sort the components that I used.Use a Notes app or the traditional Pen & Paper for the components and peripherals that you are gonna need.In order to get a list of components together, no matter what your experience level is, you should use PCPartPicker. Not only does it have everything you need to buy, but it also lets you build your PC piece by piece right on the website and makes sure all your hardware will play nicely together. It even has a few example builds you can tweak to your liking. Additionally, I recommend keeping a list of what you want, what you have, and what your budget is. I do this in Notes on my phone, with the title of each build right up at the top. It comes in handy to keep track of things. All the PCs require the same set of components. It doesn't matter if you are building it for home, office or gaming use.List of components required - <ul><h3><li>Motherboard</li></h3><p>This is the house of all the components that you are gonna buy. Motherboards come in different sizes and configurations. There are two sockets for the motherboard: LGA and AM. They are listed as “LGA1200” or “AM4”. The numbers after the LGA and AM portions of these socket names indicate which generation of Intel or AMD chips they support. Motherboards also come in different sizes, like - ATX (full size), Micro ATX, and Mini ATX. They come in different price segments too like Budget and luxurious ones. When narrowed down the differences come to only the ports they are gonna have in them. Having 2 M.2 slots is great but beyond that is just for luxury. 2 RAM slots are great as most of us are gonna use 16GBs of RAM, but if you are the exceptional then I will recommend going for 4 RAM slots rather than 2 as it will increase the scope of further upgradation.</p><h3><li>Central Processing Unit (CPU)</li></h3><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/CPUbox.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <p>This is the brain of your system. It is laid directly into the motherboard, and it is the most important component of your PC build. This is the one that handles most of the processes on your PC. It is like the brains of the whole operation. Getting the latest Gen processor is always preferred as it will give a good performance than the old ones.</p><h3><li>Storage Drive</h3><p>It is where you store all your files, games, movies, documents, photos and everything else. For installing Windows, an SSD(Solid State Drive) is recommended as it is blazing fast compared to the HDDs(Hard Disk Drive). The speed difference is shown in the image below where the left one is HDD and the right one is SDD.</p></li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/builtithowtoone.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <h3><li>Graphic Card</h3><p>It is a specialized processor that’s designed and optimized for running visual data like graphics in Games, 3D Modeling, Video and Photo Editing and other graphic-intensive tasks. GPUs are designed for sequential processing, not for parallel processing. GPU can process millions of things at the same time. For a standard home or office PC, any cheap GPU from the past years should perform well for you. But for a Gaming or a Professional PC, you will need to dump most of your budget into a good GPU as it is the one that is gonna help you build some great graphics.</p></li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/graphicCard.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <h3><li>Power Supply Unit</h3><p>It is the unit that distributes power to all of your components. You must get a little more than you are actually gonna need, if your PC requirements are 450W then go for 500W as later on if you wanna upgrade something then you don't need to upgrade the power supply too. Don't go for the cheap one that comes with the case pre-installed as it is not good and can harm your PC components.</p></li><h3><li>RAM</h3><p>It is the place where all your software runs. The minimum recommended is 8GBs, you can go up to 16GBs but anything more is just overkill for a normal user. But if are setting up a proper Video Editing PC then 32GBs is recommended.</p></li><h3><li>Cabinets & Coolers</h3><p>Your case is just the house for your components. Make sure that your case matches with the kind of motherboard you are gonna buy. Adding additional Coolers and fans is optional as it completely depends on the type of PC you are building. If you are building a gaming or production PC then you are gonna need an AIO cooler which is basically a special AC for your CPU so that it doesn't heat a lot and lose some of its performance.</p></li><h3><li>Monitor</h3><p>This is the one that you are gonna stare at for the rest of your PC's life. They are a little costly so buying a good 23-inch LED display is always good as they last very long. A normal user doesn't need a 144Hz display that is what Gamers need. A good 60Hz or 75Hz display is gonna do just fine.</p></li><h3><li>Keyboard and Mouse</h3><p>The keyboard and mouse are the ones that you are gonna use to give input to the whole PC. So getting a good combo for them is always good. Go for HP or some other company and not with the sketchy Chinese brands.</p></li></ul><br><h3>Getting Ready with the installation </h3>Now I consider you must have got some knowledge of this whole PC building this. So now is the time to build one!Once you have hands-on all the PC parts, you can start assembling them one by one by following the guide below - <ol><li>First, get a clean table that is big enough to lay down all the components that you have bought. You’ll need a Phillips-head screwdriver. <br><strong>Note</strong> - Most of the components you have bought are going to come with instruction manuals; keep them handy. </li><li>The first box that you are gonna open is the Motherboard box, Open the box, tear the packing and then put the motherboard right on top of the box it comes in. Along with this prepare the CPU that you have bought and don't touch the pins at the bottom as they are very delicate and even a little pressure can bend them which will make your PC just a paperweight!</li><li>Depending on the kind of CPU you purchased (Intel or AMD), the chip will have either little prongs on one side (don’t touch them) or little golden contacts on one side (don’t touch them too). <br>At the centre of your motherboard, there will be a square or rectangular blank space where you have to place the processor. Notice that there is a triangle at the corner of the processor that you have to align with the motherboard triangle and then just gently lay it down without any pressure and lock it in its place.</li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/cpu.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <li>Then open an injection-type thing in the box of the processor or motherboard (Don't eat it, it doesn't taste good and you can trust me on this). Apply a hefty amount of the paste on top of the processor and then just try to even it out with the top of this injection. After that align the CPU fan with the screws at all 4 corners of the processor block. Upon confirming, lightly press it and then install it. Along with this there will be a wire coming from the Fan there will be a point marked Don't the motherboard as CPU fan, just install it there and you are good to go. If you are not able to find the point then you can check the manual that comes with the motherboard. <br>With this, the hardest part of the whole thing is done!!</li><li>Next you have to install the storage, If you have an M.2 then there is a place to install the M.2 just below the processor or you can check the Motherboard manual you to get a SATA cable that would be present in the motherboard box, connect it to the SATA 1 port on your motherboard which is mostly present at the right-hand side bottom corner of the motherboard. Make sure to connect it with the SATA 1 as it has a little better speed than other ports.</li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/ram.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <li>Next just open the RAM box and there is the place at the right of the processor where it can go. First, just try to push it a little with your fingers, if it doesn't fit then rotate it 180 degrees and try again. After you think that it is going into its place you can just press it a little harder and that's it is now installed.</li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/storage.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <li>This is an optional step if you have a Graphic Card, open the Graphic card and then just check the Motherboard manual where it will go, handle this with care as this could be the most costly part of your whole PC build and then put it in place and make sure that you get a click sound to ensure proper fit.</li><li>Now, you have to move to the cabinet and install the motherboard on the cabinet. For this lay down the cabinet and then open it from both sides first install the motherboard with the screws provided and don't add less, add as many screws as required.</li><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/fan.webp' alt='' class='img-fluid'> <li>Now, the final step is to install the PSU. There will be a lot of wires coming from that, don't worry you just need a few of them. Just check the motherboard manual and then connect them accordingly. SABAR Plugin for Neon or Light Effect

It is a better alternative to Windows Explorer instead of a completely new application. In simple words, this program just adds tabs, which allow you to switch from one folder to another without needing to switch from the active window. Another great component is the option of creating bookmarks for your most often visited folders.</p><p>Learning to use Clover is relatively easy, as it has been seamlessly melded into Windows Explorer. Moreover, you can also use the same hotkey combinations that allow you to manage tabs in any browser(Pressing Ctrl + Tab simultaneously to cycle through the open tabs). Let's take a technical look at Windows 11.</p><h3>When was Windows 11 released?</h3><p>After presenting Windows 11 on June 24, 2021, Microsoft officially started rolling it to the public on October 5. It's meant to make the windows more touch-friendly, which Windows 10 somewhat struggled with.<ol><h4><li> Tabbed File Explorer and Notepad</h4><p> Now File Explorer and Notepad have a tabbed interface, just like what you might see in a web browser. It makes File Explorer easier to manage your files without opening multiple windows. Notepad also supports this feature. With CPUs having a Neural Processing Unit (NPU), it lets you change the way your camera looks. There are some such as blurring your background, automatically keeping you in frame by using eye contact, which corrects the position of your eyes to make it appear like you're looking directly at the camera. There's also a voice effect called voice focus, which filters out background noise.</p></li><h4><li>Support for Android apps </h4><p>Another major addition to Windows 11 is support for running Android apps on Windows. By default, the Start menu and the taskbar are off the screen, though you can it to the left side if you wish too.</p></li><h4><li>Windows 11 different layout selection</h4><p>This feature is a gift for users that use Ultra-Wide monitors as you can select one of the tiles in the layouts, and your app will snap to that position on the screen. Earlier, Microsoft never supported three apps side-by-side before.Snap Groups saves your snapped windows. In simple words, if you minimize all of your windows open and then hover over the app in the taskbar that you have snapped, you'll see an option to put all snapped apps back in their positions.</p></li><h4><li>Microsoft Store</h4><p> Now, App Developers can submit their apps without packaging them in a bundle. Microsoft wanted to lure desktop apps to the Microsoft Store with Windows 10, but that didn't work out quite well how Microsoft wanted it to happen. The Developers can also host them on their own CDN meaning that they don't need to be distributed by Microsoft.Now, uploading your app to the Microsoft Store is a lot easier. During the initial launch, Google Chrome was left out but now any browser can now be distributed through the Microsoft Store, with Mozilla Firefox standing as a notable example. A new application Arm64EC ABI (Application Binary Interface), allows developers to slowly transition their apps to run natively on Arm. By this, developers can gradually improve performance without committing to fully rewriting every component of their apps.Microsoft is finally taking Windows on Arm more seriously by supporting most of the Microsoft apps to work on Arm Devices. Apps like Calculator, Microsoft Store, Camera, Visual Studio and the entire developer toolchain, including things like Windows Terminal, and more. </p><p>Another thing that's ultimately available is Hyper-V support for Arm, which means that users should be able to run virtual machines with much better performance on Arm devices. Let's take a technical look at this topic.</p><img src='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ItsTechnicalLook/don/refs/heads/main/uploads/Google_Ai_copy.webp' alt='Google AI' class='img-fluid'><p>According to 9to5mac, Google has been working on a project that has more than five codenames associated with it, the main three being &ldquo;Orca, &rdquo; &ldquo;Mako, &rdquo; and &ldquo;Manta. &rdquo; </p><p>The report claimed that &ldquo;Orca &rdquo; will primarily appear in ChromeOS right-click menu but only when editing the body of text.</p><p>The report pointed out that 'When selected, Orca will open the &ldquo;Mako &rdquo; (Codename for a Google project) UI in a &ldquo;bubble &rdquo; over your screen'</p><p>What does 'Mako' do?</p><p>Citing a code, the report noted that 'Mako' has three core tasks: <ul><li> &ldquo;Request rewrites &rdquo; for a particular piece of text</li><li> &ldquo;Preset text queries &rdquo; a list of text suggestions.</li><li> &ldquo;Insert &rdquo; the rewritten text in the original text body.</li></ul></p><p>According to the report, this AI rewriting process doesnt happen locally on the PC, as per the report &ldquo;Manta &rdquo; apparently sends users' original text to the Google servers, which return back the AI-enhanced version.</p><p>It is also noted that users must agree to a consent policy before activating the service.</p><p>Furthermore, by being directly incorporated into ChromeOS, generative AI(not the actual name of the feature, just for reference in this blog) will be available to improve text written in almost any app not just ChromeOS. There is no clarity on when the feature will launch, but it may roll out with ChromeOS version 118, scheduled for mid-October.</p>
