With this upgraded NPU there comes the AI camera photography that redefines the photography experience like limitless Semantic Segmentation at 4K resolution.

This NPU allows the AI models to run seamlessly on the chip which allows an on-device video object eraser.

Snapdragon 8 Elite provides support for Unreal Engine 5’s Nanite which enables great 3D environments with support for Unreal’s Chaos Physics Engine which gives great results even in complex scenes.

The sound quality on the new chip is also improved with Qualcomm aptX™ Lossless Technology that can deliver up to 24-bit 48kHz Bluetooth music streaming and up to 24-bit 96kHz Wi-Fi music streaming. The XPAN also known as Expanded Personal Area Network (XPAN) uses the power of Wi-Fi 7 that enables whole-building untethered audio coverage.

The Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System has a dedicated AI tensor accelerator that can achieve multi-gigabit 5G speed in more places with the help of the first 4x6 MIMO solution, and 30% more accurate location positioning.
