The all-new iPad Pro comes in two display sizes: a portable 11-inch and a larger 13-inch, both thinner and lighter than previous models. It features a new tandem OLED display technology, offering up to 1600 nits of peak HDR brightness and sub-millisecond control over colour and luminance. It is powered by the new M4 Apple Silicon chip, which delivers up to 50% faster CPU performance and four times faster GPU performance than its predecessor while being more power-efficient. The device includes a 12MP back camera with a LiDAR Scanner with a new adaptive True Tone flash and the front camera has been moved to the landscape side for better usability.

The new iPad Pro is even thinner than the iPod Nano, which makes the Apple iPad Pro the thinnest Apple product ever.

And it's just as strong as the previous design, despite being so much thinner.

The display of the iPad Pro is powered by the new OLED technology. However, to achieve enough brightness and to deliver the XDR performance Apple developed a new display that uses two OLED panels and combines the light from both to deliver outstanding full-screen brightness. This technology is named as tandem OLED by Apple. The new Pro can support an incredible 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for both SDR and HDR content and 1600 nits of peak HDR brightness. Tandem OLED technology enables sub-millisecond control over the colour and luminance of each pixel. Blacks are deeper and more true with the new Tandem OLED technology in the iPad Pro 2024.

iPad Pro 2024 is powered by the new M4 Apple Silicon chip. M4 is built on second-generation 3-nanometer technology which is very power efficient. The new CPU can have up to four performance cores and six efficiency cores. M4 delivers up to 50% faster CPU performance than M2 in the previous iPad Pro. The next-generation 10-core GPU architecture can provide up to four times faster performance than M2.

M4 can deliver the same performance as M2, using just half the power then the M2 which sums up to be great performance per watt ratio.

The main housing has graphite incorporated in it and the Apple logo is made using copper which can improve thermal performance by nearly 20%.

Apple has worked on a new camera app for iPhone and iPad which is called as Final Cut Camera that allows users to easily connect multiple iPhones or iPads to capture additional angles during a Live Multicam shoot or record professional videos with precise manual controls. Moreover, Final Cut Pro automatically transfers and syncs each Live Multicam angle so you can seamlessly move from production to editing in a go.

The back camera of the iPad Pro uses a 12MP camera and has four studio-quality mics. iPad Pro also has a LiDAR Scanner, which makes AR experiences faster and more stable.

Apple has also introduced a new adaptive True Tone flash which makes document scanning on the new Pro better as claimed by Apple.

The front camera has been moved the 12MP from the portrait side to the landscape side which means that the camera has been moved from the shorter side to the longer side which gives more room in the camera section.
