ColorOS 15 features a new refreshing look with new icons, dynamic lighting effects, natural light, and shadow elements across the UI. Let's take a technical look at the new ColorOS 15.
It is also said that the animations will run more responsively and lag-free because of the new Aurora and Tidal Engine when switching between the apps.

The system includes new motion effects that provide consistently smooth animations, along with several optimizations that have resulted in an 18% improvement in app responsiveness and a 26% faster app installation process. Additionally, Oppo is introducing a system-level dynamic cache allocation feature that manages resources in real time, ensuring smooth operation.

ColorOS 15, announced by Oppo recently, turns out to be focused on AI. Opps’s XiaoBu Assistant can be popped up on any screen, and users can have natural conversations with continuous content-aware queries. There’s a circle-to-search option, too, allowing users to circle the search param and then search about the thing in the circle, which works on any screen. Moreover, the new AI image processing is also here. With just one touch users can remove person and reflection removal, blur removal for portraits and the add-on is that the images can also be upscaled with a clever image upscaling feature.
As this is a more AI-centric update, just like other companies the AI have the power to summarise the notes and format them in the notes app. The voice recorder can summarise and transcribe the recordings that the user does.
Oppo has separated the notification pane from the control center just like Apple.
ColorOS 15 will come pre-installed on the upcoming devices - Oppo Find X8 series & OnePlus 13 devices in China.
The older models will also get an update as per the schedule below.
