Anthropic Claude
Claude is a family of language models developed by the company Anthropic which was founded by former researchers from the OpenAI.
The mission through which the creators brought it into being is to make it safe, human-aligned AI interpretable. It commenced the series back in March 2023 via releasing Claude 1 while, in July 2023 bringing forth the release of the second edition, commonly known as Claude 2, with an edition of one coming with the series after two: Claude 3 comes during March 2024.
They named the models after Claude Shannon who is considered the father of information theory.
